About the ProjectThis informational project is the culmination of an extended inquiry project by graduate students at Wake Forest University as part of EDU 758: Educational Leadership. This course examines contemporary leadership theory and its various applications in education while focusing specifically on teacher leadership in classrooms, schools, and communities.
Our aim was to gather information relevant to the Department of Education’s goal to have Charles Best speak on campus and, thus, to support Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools. This website contains information on Charles Best and DonorChoose.org, local DonorsChoose.org projects, and similar fundraising efforts and speaking events. For more information about EDU 758 or this educational leadership project, contact the course instructor, Dr. Alan Brown, Assistant Professor of English Education, at [email protected]. About the Proposal The final proposal was submitted to the Wake Forest University Leadership Project committee at the beginning of the 2015 fall semester. You can read that final proposal here.
